Any one ever heard anything negative about Certainteed Windows?
I am a master installer for Certainteed. I used vinyl windows for many years. Certainteed windows is a good product with excellent warranty and service during his life. In the 10 years to install them, I was 2, who lost the glass seal, but no other problems.
I would recommend Certainteed windows to anyone considering new windows. They look great very strict air and save on heating and cooling bills.
I have Certainteed windows installed about 8 years ago. We live where the temperature in the winter time can get to 25-38 below zero sometimes. Certainteed Windows have been excellent.
My wife installed seven certainteed vinyl windows about 5 years ago.
Now we very happy with certainteed vinyl windows. Very good value for the money. We would recommend certainteed vinyl windows.
I have old house and i just replaced all my old windows in my house to the Certainteed windows. This windows easy to install, price is a little higher than most. I am very happy with Certainteed windows.

I had Certainteed windows installed throughout my home 15 years ago. About a year ago I noticed air rushing in betwwen the sashes and the tilt in windows, even gets worse when the furnace comes on. I do not know what to do to correct the problem, but I must say that I am very unhappy with the windows. I choose the best windows with low E glass and hoped to never have an issue.

I have the double hung window. There appears to be too much space between the sliding window and the frame. Additionally it appears the metal guide has broken off the window and does not slide with it.
The window is only three years old.
