MILGARD ADDS DOUBLE-HUNG WINDOWS TO FIBERGLASS ULTRA AND WOODCLAD LINES

Milgard Windows brings new function and performance to the traditional double-hung window with the introduction of its new double-hung, tilt sash windows to its fiberglass Ultra and WoodClad lines.

Featuring Milgard™s sturdy fiberglass frame and sash design with standard SunCoatâ„¢ Low-E glass for energy efficiency, the new windows offer the traditional ventilation advantage of the double-hung design with the added benefit of top and bottom tilt-in sashes for easy cleaning.

The new styles are available in a choice of five standard exterior colors and interior treatments of either a pre-finished white with the Ultra model, or in WoodClad clear vertical-grain Douglas Fir. Both models can also be ordered with custom exterior colors or can be field painted to match any color palette.

Custom sizes can be ordered in 3-1/4” and 4-1/4” frame depths compatible for both new and replacement construction applications, with no additional lead time because of Milgard’s build-to-order manufacturing process.

Milgard Windows, a Masco company, offers a full line of vinyl, fiberglass and aluminum windows and patio doors. For five of the last six years, the company has been recognized for manufacturing the nation’s highest quality vinyl windows in a yearly survey sponsored by Hanley-Wood, Inc., publishers of BUILDER magazine. The company, which employs 4,000 people nationwide, exceeded a half-billion dollars in sales in 2002.
